Liverpool reach agreement to sell midfielder

Liverpool have agreed to sell Pedro Chirivella to Rosenborg

The midfielder who featured for Liverpool in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Manchester United is now set to travel to Norway in the coming days to undergo a medical.

Liverpool will pocket £2.4million up front with the fee potentially rising to £3.5million with add-ons.

While in negotiation with the Norwegian club, the Reds insisted a buy-back option for the 21-year-old for each of his first three seasons he stayed there.

So far Chirivella has made five first-team appearances for the Reds and has two years left on his Liverpool contract.
