Liverpool have launched a €22m bid for Besiktas full back Vida

Vida was part of Croatian World Cup team that won the silver price in Russia.

Liverpool are eager to add the Croatia international to their line up following his impressive display at the World Cup alongside Dejan Lovren.

It is now claimed that they have tabled a £19.5m (€22m) offer for the defender.

Meanwhile, French paper L’Equipe has noted a deal for the 29-year-old is still on the cards and Besiktas want the Reds to pay £26.7m (€30m).
