Liverpool manager has break the silence, Fekir to Liverpool saga is not over yet
Fekir in no doubt still top the list of players wanted to be seen by Red fans playing in a Liverpool jersey this season despite the Merseyside club has succeeded in completing four major signing in the summer negotiations.
The 25-year-old was close to sealing a move to Anfield prior to the World Cup but the process became altered due to injury concern following his medical.
With the several speculations surrounding Fekir's proposed move to Liverpool this summer window, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has open up he is still concerned about finalizing a move for the Frenchman.
Klopp, when asked how about the Fekir to Liverpool move replied: “Nothing really to say about that.
“I said already something about it around a pre-season game, I don’t know exactly which one.
“It’s probably… done. But there’s two weeks left.
“If nothing happens with our boys, then I’m happy. It’s fine. So we can go.
“But if something happens, I think you always have to make sure that you can react. If not now, the next year, whatever.”
Liverpool first offered a £53million fee on their failed attempt to land the player but reports are suggesting he will join this summer in an improved offer.
