Liverpool have reportedly resume negotiations with Lyon for Nabil Fekir after Manchester United made an offer for the 24-year-old
After an injury-report setback may be Liverpool are ready to compromise on landing Fekir this summer following reports that Premier League rival Manchester United have submitted an offer for the Frenchman.
Liverpool were on the verge of completing a move for Fekir before the World Cup but in the process, a medical report carried on the Lyon skipper indicated an old injury which he has sustained, so the process of completion was altered.
However other reports has claimed Fekir deal fell to the dust not because of injury concerns but due to other factor which both Lyon and Liverpool will not unveil.
Lyon chief earlier revealed Jose Mourinho want to sign Fekir, denoting an old rival want to follow up with the deal so the Reds have to think twice of losing it.
According to the Daily Mirror Liverpool have resume talks with Lyon over Fekir and are confident of finishing the task started some weeks ago.
Fekir 24, progressed with France to the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals after they defeated Argentina 4-3 on Saturday and Liverpool will have to wait until France are eliminated from the tournament or crowned Champions before they can evaluate on their second chance.
