There are worries surrounding Fekir move to Liverpool this summer as the player was discovered with knee injury
The Frenchman is expected to put pen to paper for the Reds after a £53million deal was agreed between the clubs, as were personal terms with the player
Members of the Anfield medical department traveled to France days ago to supervise the the deal to enable them run an early check on the player before the World Cup kick off.
Fekir underwent a medical at Liverpool on Friday, unfortunately a knee problem was discovered. He has also gone through his promotional photo-shoot and an interview with LFC TV and Liverpool’s media team are ready to announce the deal.
But there are worries this knee problem could wreck the £53million transfer.
According to Express sport Liverpool are trying to keep the nature of the problem a secret and are refusing to offer any comment. Meaning the move for the Lyon skipper is still under consideration.
Fekir suffered a serious knee injury sustained when playing for France three years ago but on the reality that he played the whole of last season, hardly missing a game in the process, would assume the injury has no significant effect on him.
The France international will be Liverpool second most expensive player bought if the move finally goes through.
