FFF president leave a positive statement regarding Fekir transfer

The French Football Federation president has insisted Fekir will move to Liverpool despite injury concern

Fekir move to Liverpool was recently reported to have reached a stall due to injury concerns following a Liverpool medical he had before the World Cup.

Despite that FFF president La Graet insists a transfer will still be done and he is confident Fekir will be a Red before the end of this transfer window.

"I saw him this morning for 15 minutes," he said.

"He's in the middle of negotiating, I think they will get it done.

"He was confident about it because the medical he underwent was positive."

Fekir's imminent arrival has been lauded by French football writer Robin Bairner.

"As we’ve seen this season, he’s been absolutely phenomenal in France," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"Jean-Michel Aulas, the Lyon president, said he preferred Fekir to Neymar.

"That’s a bit of a hyperbolic statement, but that’s the sort of level he’s thought of in France."
