The Egypt Football Association has expressed it has not talked about international retirement with Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah was recently reported to be considering retirement from international football following the strong negative reaction he received being spotted on a photograph with controversial Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
The Chechnya pioneer is said to be contentious character across the globe , having been blamed for human rights mishandle and the murder of gay people in his country.
Mohamed Salah was publicly honored with a citizenship of the Chechen Republic' by Kadyrov after Egypt World cup defeat by Russia last week, and Kadyrov was blamed for utilizing Salah as a purposeful publicity stunt.
Following such speculations circulating the Egyptian FA have uncovered there have been no discussions with Mohamed Salah over his retirement he was declared as a citizen of the Chechen Republic' by Kadyrov.
"We were always informed by Salah when he takes any decisions," it said in a statement.
"We spend the whole day together and he has never discussed this issue with any of the delegation's members."
"We are here in a sports event and we are following FIFA procedures, we don't discuss politics, and if there is any political discussion, it should be directed to FIFA."
