Philippe Coutinho has told Barcelona to complete deal for the Senegal international
Sadio Mane had a fine season with Liverpool last season helping the Reds to reach the Champions League final and secure a top-four finish.
The Senegal international bagged 20 goals and with eight assists in all competitions under Klopp last season.
Mane 26, has been linked heavily with move to Real Madrid in recent weeks, with reports claiming the winger had agree terms to join the Los blancos during Zinedine Zidane reign as Real manager
However, according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, former Liverpool team mate Coutinho wants Barcelona to sign Mane.
Coutinho who left Anfield in January to join Barcelona has told Barca transfer chiefs to land Mane this summer.
The Brazil superstar feels Mane can be the perfect alternative to Antoine Griezmann, after the Atletico Madrid striker played down a move to join the Catalan club this week.
The France hitman filmed a television documentary, revealing his decision to reject the Spanish giants in favour of staying at Atletico.
