Carragher was suspended by Sky Sports after he was filmed spitting at a car following Liverpool's defeat to Manchester United in March.
It remains unclear if Carragher will return to his role with the Liverpool legend yet to receive any indication from Sky.
The Times reports he has been attending sessions in a bid to resolve the issues after Sky confirmed he would "get the help he needs".
Carragher issued a public apology for spitting towards a teenage girl while driving but did not face police action for his behaviour.
At the time, a Sky statement said: "Following an internal review, Sky has suspended Jamie Carragher for the remainder of the football season.
"Jamie has taken full responsibility for what has happened and we will ensure he gets the help he needs to guarantee something like this never happens again.
Carragher, who has continued to work with Danish TV channel TV3 Sport, said: "I have brought shame on the name of football. I was a role model, people looked to me."
"I've made mistakes in my 25-year career, but this is the worst one."
