Serie C side open up to take Loris Karius on loan

Rimini FC have said they will happily take Karius on loan for a season - although he will have to fight to get into the first team


Liverpool suffered an unfair defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid at Kiev and Loris Karius twice blunder fueled the Reds chaos after Mohamed Salah setback in the first half.

Following a disappointing Champions League final the Liverpool goalie could be set for a Anfield exit as the club are keen to replace him.

The Reds are currently targeting Roma goalkeeper Alison Becker, Jan Oblak and AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma as a possible replacement.

According to reports Italian third-tier side Rimini FC are preparing a loan move for Loris Karius and the Serie C side are already claiming the Liverpool goalie should perform to expectations if he will get into their first team.

“On June 22, Loris Karius will turn 25 years old. I would like to host the German goalkeeper for a few days in Rimini, a welcoming town that has always been frequented by his fellow countrymen and women,” Rimini president Giorgio Grassi wrote in an open letter.


“I would be happy to meet him in Rimini to remind him that it just takes courage, or perhaps good sense, to understand the best life lessons are often also the toughest, the most difficult to bear.
