Nabil Fekir has spoken on whether he is securing a move to Liverpool this transfer window
Liverpool in recent weeks has been linked heavily with a move for the Lyon midfielder.
The 24-year-old has continuously rebuffed any transfer talk in recent weeks.
Saturday Ligue 1final games sees Lyon victor over Nice, a 3-2 defeat to guarantee them third spot in the league table, booking their place in the European competition.
An emotional Fekir hit the turf as the final whistle was blew, sobbing on the floor before being embraced by his teammates and manager.
“There were a lot of emotions and we finished it in style.
“I gave everything for Lyon, we’ll see for the future.
"Even if all was not perfect this season, we finished well.
“It’s been four years since I’ve been pro and it’s one of my greatest joys (to finish third).
"As I told you, this game was very important to me.
However Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas also changed his viewpoint that Fekir would not be sold, saying after the game:
‘We wanted to see which competition we would be playing next season before discussing it.
‘I am someone who always respects my players’ wishes once they have brought what they have brought, like Corentin Tolisso and Alexandre Lacazette. We will discuss to see what Nabil wants.’
