Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League final after holding Roma away to a 7-6 aggregate score on Wednesday.

They will face defending champions Real Madrid in the final. The Los blancos are ready to be crowned champions in a third consecutive run but only if they surpass a Liverpool side that has been in massive form this season.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah so far, have scored 10 champions League goals which left him five goals behind Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah who currently has a total of 43 goals in all competition this season for Liverpool could be in position to end a long run Ballon d'or dominance of Ronaldo and Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

"It is not going to be a final between Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo," he said, after Liverpool's 7-6 aggregate win over his old club, Roma.

"I am playing for a great club and we have great players, so qualifying to the final came with great teamwork. I cannot do it alone - it is collective work.

"When we score a goal it's because we are all doing good, when we concede it means we all need to work harder."
