Serbia winger linked with Anfiled move

Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly in contest for the transfer of Andrija Zivkovic

According to O Jogo, both clubs have sent scout to watch the winger in Benfica’s 1-0 defeat to Porto on Sunday.

Manchester United, Everton, West Ham, Aston Villa, Swansea, Tottenham, Southampton and Leicester also had scouts there surveying the game.

Zivkovic, 21, only joined Benfica from Partizan Belgrade in the summer of 2016.

But he has emerged as an important player for the Lisbon side.

Zivkovic has netted three goals this season and played in five of Benfica’s Champions League group games.

Tottenham are most likely to strike a deal with Benfica this summer for the winger, as Mauricio Pochettino would be aiming a potential replacement for Erik Lamela, who could return to Serie A this summer.
