Real Madrid could sell Ronaldo to a Chinese club this summer to fund a move for Mohamed Salah according to Spanish source
Real Madrid are keen on Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and are hoping to sign him at the end of the season.
But the La Liga champions know they will have to break the £198million world record transfer fee to secure his signature.
And to free up the funds, Spanish outlet El Gol Digital say Los Blancos will try and sell Ronaldo, 33, to a club from the Chinese Super League.
Real apparently think they can recoup €220m (£200m) from the sale of their Portugal international.
And they would then spend that money on trying to take Salah to the Spanish capital because they have now supposedly given up on their primary target Neymar.
El Gol Digital add that Manchester City want to sign the Paris Saint-Germain attacker so Real have diverted their full focus to Salah.
But Liverpool are reportedly in the process of offering the Egyptian a bumper new contract which will only inflate his transfer value further.
Liverpool are expected to strengthen their squad further at the end of the season as they still have the war-chest available from the sale of Philippe Coutinho in January.
And Klopp will be keen to keep his best players so they can challenge for the Premier League title next term.
