Mohamed Salah set new club record

Mohamed Salah has become the fastest Liverpool player to score 20 goals in the Premier League after his brace against Tottenham

Liverpool drew 2 - 2 against Tottenham on Sunday evening. Mohamed Salah capitalised on a mistake from Eric Dier to open the scoring in the first half and reach 20 league goals for the season after just 25 games.

The Record was formerly held by ex Liverpool forward Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturridge haven scored 20 goals in 27 games for the Reds.

Mohamed Salah now ranks fourth in all time goal scorers who has scored more goal in the first 25 matches in the Premier League for a club. The 24-year-old is tied with Newcastle duo Alan Shearer and Les Ferdinand but behind Newcastle's Andy Cole and Sunderland's Kelvin Philips with 22 and 24 goals respectively.

Salah have achieved the BBC player of the year award, CAF  player of the year award and other honor in just four month after he joined Liverpool from AS Roma last summer.
