Emre Can have attracted interest from Manchester City and Juventus this window.

The Liverpool midfielder will be out of contract at the end of the season and could be set for a free transfer to either clubs showing interest.

Report from Spanish outlet Don Balon has claimed La Liga giant Real Madrid have join the battle for the 24-year-old signature.

Juventus have been targeting Can since the summer with hope they would complete their verge when he becomes a free agent.

However Liverpool are still in talk with the German trying to persuade him to put pen to paper before next transfer window as several meetings for a contract talk has not satisfy the player expectation.

Emre Can recently opened up on whether he has the intention of leaving Anfield this January when he told reporters; "I still have a contract here until the end of the season,”

“I give everything for the club, I will try to give everything for the club", said Can.

"The rest is down to my agent, and I'm just responsible for performances on the pitch.

"Of course, if I have a contract I will always give my best.”
