Manchester United Legend 'Roy Kean' has said Liverpool will continue their struggle if they do not get rid of Alberto Moreno
The Spain international made several key mistakes as Liverpool let a three-goal lead slip against his former side Sevilla on Tuesday evening. He first gave away a needless free-kick that lead to their first goal and conceded the penalty for the second.
Keane appears to have long been convinced that Moreno is not good enough to play for Liverpool, but, by describing his defending as 'madness', he suggested this latest display should be the last straw for Klopp.
Speaking on ITV about Moreno, Keane said: "What he's doing for the penalty, you wouldn't see a child doing it. It's pure madness for an international player to do that.
"You look at the free-kick he gave away, that's nothing to do with the manager. This has nothing to do with team shape or mentality.
"I know it's a team game, but sometimes you have to point the finger and say "you're killing us, you're costing us".
Keane admits Liverpool have enough quality to win most football matches, but he believes they will continue to struggle against the toughest teams so long as Moreno remains in the side.
He continued: "Liverpool will win a lot of football matches, but when it comes to the big games they're going to come up short because they've got a couple of defenders who just aren't good enough and they'll always get found out."
