Jurgen Kloop is looking forward to bringing the Turkish player on loan
Liverpool to sign Emre Mor on Loan |
Mor, 19, was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool last summer with Jurgen Klopp apparently tracking his progress.
But the Reds missed out on the Turkey international after he opted to join Borussia Dortmund from FC Nordsjaelland.
The youngster signed a five-year contract to keep him at the club until 2021.
But he struggled to make a breakthrough at Dortmund in his debut season after making just 19 appearances with only five Bundesliga starts to his name.
The Sun claim Dortmund are willing to loan him out next season in a bid to get regular minutes under his belt.
And Liverpool could now reignite their interest in Mor with Borussia Dortmund offering Jurgen Klopp the chance to sign him.
The Sun say the German boss is now weighing up a loan move for Mor with a view to signing him permanently.
Klopp has already been making waves in the transfer window with Dominic Solanke agreeing to join from Chelsea when his contract expires on July 1.
Solanke has apparently agreed a £20,000-a-week contract at Anfield and will initially go into Liverpool's under-23 side.
However, it has not all been plain sailing for the Reds after they suffered embarrassment in their pursuit of Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool made an illegal approach for the defender with Klopp supposedly meeting Van Dijk for secret talks.
But they have now officially ended their interest in signing Van Dijk after apologising for their alleged attempts to bring him to Merseyside.
The Kop boss is keen to revamp his squad as he looks to mount a Premier League title challenge and progress to the Champions League group stage.
But in order to mix it with Europe's elite once again Liverpool will have to win a play-off tie to be contested in August.
