Liverpool poised to beat Manchester United to signing of France youth star Yasser Larouci

Liverpool are poised to beat Manchester United and Southampton to France youth international Yasser Larouci

The 16-year-old attacking midfielder played for Paul Pogba's former club Le Havre but has rejected their offer of a contract and is a free agent.
Born in Algeria, Larouci, who can play on the wing or behind the striker, had a trial at Southampton in December and was also watched by Manchester United.
However, Liverpool are now confident of him signing up with their academy.
The Reds have been away on a mid-season training camp in La Manga this week.
Jurgen Klopp's side had over two weeks without a first-team fixture due to their fourth-round FA Cup exit at the hands of Wolves last month and used the chance to get away.
