The Dutch winger is teammates with Georginio Wijnaldum for Holland and the dynamic midfielder fueled speculation last month when he expressed his desire to see Promes at Anfield.

The 25-year-old winger has impressed for Russian top flight side Spartak since leaving FC Twente in 2014.
Holland team-mate Georginio Wijnaldum sparked rumours Promes could be joining him at Anfield last month, saying: ‘Of course I want him to come to Liverpool.
